Accessibility and Inclusion

This statement was last updated in May 2025.

At Lobster Productions, we believe creativity should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to ensuring that individuals of all abilities and backgrounds can work with, contribute to, and benefit from our creative services without barriers or bias.

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

We aim to create an inclusive environment for clients, collaborators, and participants with physical, sensory, neurodiverse, or mental health-related needs. Measures we take to support accessibility include:

  • Flexible communication methods – including email, phone, and video calls with captioning support.

  • Accessible meeting venues (when in-person) with step-free access and accessible toilet facilities wherever possible.

  • Remote access options for meetings, feedback sessions, and production collaboration.

  • Clear and structured communication practices for neurodivergent individuals, including the option to receive visual schedules or written briefs.

  • Extended response times or flexible deadlines when required due to disability or health-related needs.

If you require a particular accommodation, we encourage you to contact us in advance and we will do our utmost to support your access.

2. Inclusive Production Practices

Whether you're a client, performer, crew member or collaborator, we welcome and support individuals with additional needs. Our production practices strive to:

  • Avoid overstimulating environments where possible, and provide quiet spaces or downtime when needed.

  • Offer script or visual content warnings in advance if a project contains potentially distressing material.

  • Maintain a psychologically safe space on set by upholding dignity, confidentiality, and boundaries.

3. Zero Tolerance for Discrimination

In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, we do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or victimisation on the basis of any protected characteristic, including:

  • Age

  • Disability

  • Gender reassignment

  • Marriage and civil partnership

  • Pregnancy and maternity

  • Race

  • Religion or belief

  • Sex

  • Sexual orientation

Everyone involved with Lobster Productions has the right to feel safe, respected, and valued. Any concerns or incidents will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

4. Feedback & Contact
